Sometimes, Allah (SWT) answers our dua in ways we could never plan, through a chance meeting, a gentle nudge of courage, or a door that opens at exactly the right time. At Al Rawdah Academy, we are honored to witness these moments unfold, where sincere intentions meet steadfast guidance and hearts reconnect with the Qur’an. The story below is one such journey of hesitation turned into commitment, a dua answered in the sacred lands of Hajj, and a bond with the Qur’an strengthened through patience, discipline, and sincere mentorship. This is a voice that inspires, reminding us that when we take one step toward the Qur’an, Allah SWT opens paths far beyond what we imagined.
“I was hesitant to commit to an Ijazah course because of time limitations and other priorities. During Hajj two years ago, I made a lot of dua asking Allah SWT to strengthen my connection with the Qur’an. Al Rawdah Academy became the place where that dua was answered.
In Mina, I met a sister who later shared Ustazah Mariam’s contact with me without me even asking for an Ijazah teacher. Allah SWT placed the courage in my heart to begin, and with His mercy, I completed my Ijazah with Ustazah Mariam. She was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to schedule 6–8 classes a week. She never let my mistakes slide, and that firm, loving push was exactly what I needed.
If you are someone wanting to start from the basics or simply need a refresher, don’t delay that first step. Once you begin, Allah SWT will open doors for you in ways you could never imagine.
JazakAllahu khairan, Ustazah Mariam. May our connection with the Qur’an be a means of uniting us in Jannah. Ameen.”
