At Al Rawdah Academy, we believe every child is a gift from Allah (SWT), deserving of love, respect, and access to meaningful Islamic education. Some of our students may learn differently or face unique challenges, and it is our mission to ensure they are supported with care and dignity in their journey of faith and learning.
Who We Support
Our program welcomes students with a variety of needs, including but not limited to:
- ADD and ADHD
- Dyslexia
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Down syndrome
- Developmental delays and late brain development
Our Approach
- Student Assessment: Each child is evaluated to determine the best way for them to engage with our programs. This helps us identify whether online classes are a good fit or if additional support is required.
- Parental Involvement: For some students, especially in online settings, a parent or caregiver may need to be present during lessons to help with supervision and participation.
- Flexible Accommodations: Depending on individual needs, accommodations may include modified coursework, multi-sensory teaching methods, visual aids, extra time, or one-on-one support.
- In-Person Support: For students with more severe needs, we offer in-person accommodations and guidance to ensure they can learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our Commitment
We view the inclusion of students with special needs as a reflection of our Islamic values of compassion, patience, and community. At Al Rawdah Academy, every child is seen, respected, and supported. Our goal is to create a learning space where students not only grow in their knowledge of Islam but also feel a true sense of belonging.
